to duvet or not to duvet, that is the question.

I am having the hardest time finding a new bedspread for my room. I used to use a great ruffle duvet cover from Urban Outfitters, but because of my dog, that cover ended up getting ruined/stained and I had to let it go. I also found it a bit annoying to use a duvet cover, not wanting the extra work of having to tie a giant comforter inside it. Instead, I want something that doesn't take quite as much effort but still has that girly/romantic style that I'm aiming for. However, this is seeming less and less possible, so I'm starting to come to terms with my duvet cover fate.

Above are just some duvet covers that I've had my eye on over the past few months. The ruffle one in the bottom center is the one I used to have. Part of me wishes I could just buy that one all over again and use it as a coverlet, but they no longer carry full/queen in ivory, meaning that's no longer an option.

Another characteristic I look for in bedding is that it's white. I have an obsession with wanting everything to look very white and clean. But because this seems so difficult to find without just buying a boring, plain bedding set, I might be changing my tune. And that's where Deny Designs comes in. After seeing some of their duvet covers on Urban Outfitters and Polyvore, I decided to look them up myself. And now I might be obsessed.. Here are the top contenders:

What do you think: should I stick with something white or go with one of the awesome designs above? If you have a favorite, make sure to let me know!
